The Boathouse is a boutique lodge of only 18 apartments. Fabulous. There is nothing done in this style, at this price in this region before. The most common style is a three-leveled loft with open living at the middle level, romantic bedroom in the loft, and boys-own garden access rooms down below. These are holiday lofts, with holiday attitude for holiday fun.

WHITE GOODS THAT ARE STAINLESS

In a typically urbane way, the kitchens are in stainless, atop shelving of pullout cane baskets, as a quaint contemporary rub of tech meets earthy. Stainless European white goods include dishwasher and oven, and if you hate cleaning stoves, it's glass topped. All the units are fitted down to the last boning knife and bottle opener. Each unit has a 300L fridge, a bullet proof front-loading washing machine and a dryer.

EAST MEETS WEST INTERIOR DESIGN

We've been on six overseas buying trips hunting down the items we've designed aiming to blend modernism with earthiness. We tracked down the 'absolutely fabulous' and talented design team who were responsible for the soft furnishings at the most opulent six star Balinese resorts. In the end we had nearly all our handmade furniture designed to our own specs. We respect and love fashion, but we push for a style that will last many years beyond the fashion.
